Fill out your information form so we are able to prepare for your appointment. it is important to indicate your budget so that we bring out dresses which are appropriately priced.

When you arrive, you will be greeted by your personal stylist. She will take any further relevant details and will take cognizance of your preferred Styles.
We try very hard to keep within your budget but may also suggest styles about or below your budget which you might like to try on.

At this first appointment you will be given the chance to try on most shapes of gowns. This is important for you to be sure your choice is correct, as sometimes brides may completely change their view when actually seeing different styles on their body shape.

When you have said ‘yes to the dress’, and maybe selected a veil also, your gown will either be ordered from the supplier ( lead time will be explained so as to avoid a rush fee), or it will be put away safely, if you have chosen a sample of the rail.
You will be asked to pay a deposit on the dress you have chosen. A’mour will not order your dress until a deposit has been paid.

You will then receive regular statements of account, indicating when progress or balance payments are due, according to A’mour’s Terms and conditions.

You will be notified when your dress is ready for delivery to A’mour, and if any further balance payment is due.

A fitting appointment will be set up with our seamstress, optimally 4 to 6 weeks before your wedding date, or when your dress arrives at the boutique if time is tight.
When you attend the fitting, our seamstress will pin the dress ready for alterations, so that it fits perfectly.(should we say here that we will give an approximate idea of the quote so they can decide if they want to use in house, or just take the dress elsewhere. ??)

Brides may also choose to accessorise their ‘look’ at this fitting by selecting from our quite extensive collection of costume and silver jewellery.
A final fitting date will be agreed at this appointment.
You will receive a quotation for your alterations within a day or two.

Should you decide to use our seamstress services, when payment is received, the alterations will be started. For obvious reasons, we will not cut and alter the dress until full payment is made.

Your final fitting will be approximately a week before your wedding, so that any minor adjustments can be finalized at that point, if necessary. You will then collect your dress, veil and any other accessories you have chosen anytime during the week up to your wedding.
